We're hiring: Part-Time Web Content & Social Media Coordinator
Gestalt New York is a contemporary furniture showroom on Warren Street in Hudson, NY, representing curated Scandinavian, Japanese, and Australian design brands. We're looking for a creative, detail-oriented coordinator to help us manage our digital presence across two e-commerce sites — Squarespace and Shopify — with a supporting role across Instagram and Pinterest.
This is a part-time retainer role, approximately 10–15 hours per week, remote-friendly, with room to grow as we expand.
Responsibilities:
— Building and maintaining product pages across both platforms (imagery, copy, specs, pricing)
— Uploading new collections and brand content
— General site updates: banners, navigation, landing pages
— Basic SEO formatting
— Light copyediting on product descriptions
— Scheduling posts and writing captions for Instagram and Pinterest
What we're looking for:
— Confident experience in both Squarespace and Shopify — ideally with product/e-commerce pages
— A strong visual eye and sensitivity to brand aesthetics
— Familiarity with the design, interiors, or luxury lifestyle space
— Reliable, organized, and comfortable working independently
— Strong writing skills, particularly for a quiet, editorial brand voice
Rate: $40–45/hour depending on experience
