Job Summary:
The Paralegal will assist attorneys by providing clerical and research support services including document preparation and review, interviewing clients and witnesses,
research, fact-checking, and trial preparation.

Key Responsibilities:
- Assist attorneys in all aspects of family law matters
- Draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
- Review and summarize case documents, including records, correspondence, and orders.
- Conduct legal research and prepare case summaries.
- Manage case files, ensuring all relevant documents are properly organized and filed.
- Assist in the preparation of trial exhibits and case presentations.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Prepare and file documents with courts electronically and in person as necessary.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal, preferably in family law.
- Must be flexible to work in person in Hudson, NY.
- Proficiency in legal research, drafting, and case management software.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Familiarity with local family court rules and procedures.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
