We are seeking a skilled and reliable HVAC Technician to join our team, servicing multiple residential apartment communities across Dutchess, Ulster, and the Capital Region.
This is a position with a private property management company that owns and operates residential communities — not an HVAC service company. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day, takes pride in quality work, and can work independently while representing a professional management team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, repairs and replacements on HVAC systems.
- Complete preventative maintenance and seasonal inspections/service
- Respond to service requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
- Ensure all work is completed in compliance with safety standards
- Communicate effectively with property management staff and residents
- On-call expectations during heating season
Qualifications
- Proven experience as an HVAC Technician
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Valid driver’s license and reliable personal vehicle required - No company vehicle, gas allowance
- Willingness to travel between multiple properties within assigned regions
Pay: From $35.00 per hour
