In this vital role, you will be responsible for managing warehouse activities, supporting order fulfillment, and ensuring smooth shipping and receiving processes. Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
- Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to accurately track inventory, process orders, and update stock records.
- Prepare orders by picking, packing, and verifying items using order picking techniques and basic math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Manage shipping and receiving activities by inspecting incoming shipments, recording deliveries in AS400 or similar systems, and coordinating outbound shipments.
- Stock shelves efficiently by replenishing inventory and maintaining organized storage areas for easy access.
- Support warehouse distribution operations by assisting with load planning, staging products for shipment, and ensuring timely dispatch.
- Maintain safety standards by adhering to proper equipment operation procedures and conducting routine inspections of warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts.
Qualifications
- Proven experience working in a warehouse environment with familiarity in warehouse distribution processes.
- Ability to operate forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and order pickers safely; certification preferred.
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for order fulfillment and inventory management.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during packing and stock checks.
- Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with experience in order picking & packing for e-commerce platforms.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining safety standards.
