WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a caring and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver health services to students in school settings. As a School RN, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of children, supporting them in a safe and nurturing educational environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide nursing care to students, including administering medication and treatments as prescribed
- Monitor students for signs of illness or injury and provide appropriate first aid
- Assist with screening programs and health assessments
- Develop care plans in collaboration with school staff and parents/guardians
- Maintain accurate health records and confidentiality of student information
- Educate students on health topics and promote wellness and healthy habits

Requirements
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
- Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong assessment and clinical skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
- BLS certification is required
