WorkFit Medical Staffing is seeking a caring and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to deliver health services to students in school settings. As a School RN, you will play a vital role in the health and well-being of children, supporting them in a safe and nurturing educational environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care to students, including administering medication and treatments as prescribed
Monitor students for signs of illness or injury and provide appropriate first aid
Assist with screening programs and health assessments
Develop care plans in collaboration with school staff and parents/guardians
Maintain accurate health records and confidentiality of student information
Educate students on health topics and promote wellness and healthy habits

Requirements

Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of New York
Experience working in a school or pediatric healthcare setting is preferred
Strong assessment and clinical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions
BLS certification is required
