We’re hiring a Director of Client Strategy & Growth—a senior leader who brings sharp strategic thinking, strong client leadership, and an AI-forward mindset to modern marketing.
This is a key leadership role within the organization. You’ll guide high-impact client relationships, shape cross-channel strategy, mentor teams, and help define how Overit continues to grow and evolve.
This is a hybrid role based in Albany, NY (minimum three days in-office).
What You’ll DoLead Strategic Direction
- Own strategy across key accounts, ensuring work drives measurable business outcomes
- Act as a senior advisor to client stakeholders, including executive leadership
- Guide integrated marketing strategies across brand, content, media, and digital
Drive Growth—for Clients and the Agency
- Identify and expand opportunities within existing accounts
- Support new business efforts, pitches, and proposal development
- Bring proactive ideas that create measurable value
Build and Elevate the Team
- Mentor account managers and strategists, raising the bar for strategic thinking
- Create frameworks and processes that improve how we plan, execute, and measure work
- Foster collaboration across creative, media, and digital teams
Turn Insight Into Action
- Translate data, research, and performance into clear direction
- Define KPIs and ensure campaigns are optimized against meaningful outcomes
- Simplify complex ideas for both clients and internal teams
AI & Innovation Leadership- Apply AI tools (ChatGPT, Clause, Midjourney, automation platforms) to enhance strategy, content development, and insights
- Identify opportunities to integrate AI into workflows across teams
- Guide internal teams on how to use AI effectively—not just faster, but smarter
- Evaluate and implement tools that improve efficiency, scalability, and performance

What You Bring- 7–10+ years in a marketing, digital, or creative agency environment
- Experience leading multi-channel marketing strategy tied to business outcomes
- Strong client presence, including executive-level communication
- Experience mentoring teams and improving internal processes
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to enhance marketing strategy or execution
- A clear point of view on how AI is shaping the future of marketing
