The Clinical Nurse in Labor & Delivery provides compassionate care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and evaluating patient conditions.
- Assesses and responds to patient needs, collaborates with the team to develop care plans, and guides ancillary staff.
- Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), current NYS RN license, and BLS/ACLS certifications.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care is preferred.
- Demonstrates strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills, supporting quality improvement and patient safety.
