Schenectady City Court is seeking a highly motivated and organized professional to serve as the Deputy Chief Clerk III. Deputy Chief Clerks are the second highest-ranking nonjudicial employees in the court system, responsible for overseeing court operations and ensuring efficient case processing. The Deputy Chief Clerk III will work closely with the Chief Clerk, Judges, regional court administrators, and the Office of Court Administration to manage the day-to-day activities of the court.
In addition to managing court functions, the Deputy Chief Clerk III will assume the duties of the Chief Clerk in their absence, supervise personnel, and oversee budget management, case processing, resource allocation and a wide range of clerical and managerial duties.
Qualifications: Bachelor`s degree from an accredited college or university and three (3) years of work experience involving managerial responsibilities such as human resources administration, budget preparation, and review of documents for compliance with policies, rules, and procedures; or Anequivalent combination of education and experience.
