Overview:
We are seeking a Business Analyst who will support our client. This role supports technical initiatives that drive innovation and advancement through enhanced internal tools, automated processes, and adoption of technologies such as Python, GitLab, and AI. The Business Analyst ensures accurate documentation, effective coordination, and well-defined business requirements to foster operational efficiency, reduce vendor dependency, and empower internal stakeholders.
Duties
- Conduct detailed process discovery, engage subject matter experts (SMEs), and document database schema.
- Gather and validate SharePoint requirements, ensure structured documentation, and align user needs with technical solutions.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive requirements documentation, serve as liaison with stakeholders, support UAT, and ensure accurate system records.
- Coordinate across divisions, document requirements, and ensure cross-team alignment.
- Lead stakeholder interviews, centralize documentation of MDW business rules, and support tools developed in Python.
Mandatory Qualifications: (must be qualifiable)
- Experience in business analysis and requirements gathering.
- Demonstrated effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Experience in creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation, including BRDs and process maps.
- Ability to coordinate between technical teams and business stakeholders.
- Experience in facilitating meetings and documenting outcomes effectively.
- Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Planner, Outlook, Teams) for documentation and collaboration.
- Experience in translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Experience in working with database concepts and understanding system requirements.
- Experience in creating UAT documentation and providing UAT support.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Experience in working with SQL and/or Python for basic queries or understanding code logic.
- Experience in creating wireframes or working with UI/UX concepts using tools like Visio.
- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies and backlog management.
- Experience in using data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
- Experience in developing business cases with ROI-focused justifications.
- Experience in using SharePoint or similar platforms for documentation management.
