This position is for the Trusted Artificial Intelligence (AI) & Autonomy Lead in the C6ISR Advanced Concepts Strategy & Business Development (S&BD) organization. This role requires a deep understanding of customer needs & requirements, expertise in Artificial Intelligence & Autonomy technology innovations, and the ability to foster enduring partnerships with stakeholders, industry partners, and customers to drive collaborative success. The primary objective of this position is to spearhead growth for the C6ISR line of business by leveraging emerging technologies and identifying new opportunities for expansion.
This Includes
- Ensure C6ISR business is positioned to help our customers address their next generation requirements – drive our future technology and product strategies.
- Develop S&T and industry relationships to secure CRAD/OTAs and industry partnerships.
- Stay informed about emerging requirements for AI and Autonomy.
- Collaborate with other functions within the C6ISR business (Engineering, Program Management, Finance, Contracts, Security, Legal, Sourcing) to ensure the accomplishment of opportunity and strategy milestones.
- Proactively engage with customers, influencers, and stakeholders to identify, qualify, and shape the opportunities to maximize probability of winning by ensuring LM offerings meet customer needs.
- Conduct and participate in customer value proposition workshops and manage customer contact plans in support of business goals.
- Research and organize competitive intelligence, including participation in Black Hat competitive assessments and leading or supporting position-to-win efforts.
- Drive and support the development of business cases in support of individual opportunities, to ensure new business meets financial targets.
- Establish, refine, and implement capture plans and strategies in support of individual captures, and contribute to higher-level strategies.
- Participate in and lead proposal development efforts in support of capturing new business; includes writing or contributing to proposal volumes and proposal color team reviews.

Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. Pay Rate: The annual base salary range for this position in California and New York (excluding most major metropolitan areas), Colorado, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, Washington or Washington DC is $128,400 - $226,435. For states not referenced above, the salary range for this position will reflect the candidate’s final work location. Please note that the salary information is a general guideline only.
