Title: TCGM Technician
Location: Malta, NY
Pay rate: $21/hr on w2
Duration: 12+ Months
Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, 12 hours shift
Job Summary
The TGCM Operations team manages the safe, reliable, and cost-effective supply of gases and chemicals for semiconductor manufacturing. The role involves operating and maintaining gas and chemical systems to ensure uninterrupted 24/7 production support.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain gas and chemical delivery systems
- Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and daily system checks
- Monitor gas/chemical systems, safety equipment, and complete cylinder/tote change-outs
- Handle bulk gas and chemical transfers and deliveries
- Respond to issues, escalate when needed, and support emergency response activities
- Follow all safety, HS&E, and operational procedures
- Assist in training team members and contractors
- Maintain accurate records, reporting, and inventory tracking
- Perform basic analytical/sampling tasks
Hazardous Waste Duties (if Applicable)
- Manage proper storage, handling, labeling, and shipment of hazardous waste
- Follow spill response and waste handling procedures
- Support waste minimization and compliance with regulations
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED or 5+ years of relevant experience
- 1+ year of related experience
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow instructions and safety protocols
- Basic electro-mechanical aptitude
- Ability to handle emergency situations and train junior staff
