Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas including floors, windows, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock needs replenishing
- Follow established safety procedures to handle cleaning chemicals responsibly and prevent accidents
- Dispose of waste properly, ensuring recycling protocols are adhered to where applicable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the supervisor promptly
- Adhere to all health and safety regulations to ensure a hygienic environment for all building occupants
- Support special cleaning projects or deep-cleaning tasks as assigned by supervisors to maintain high standards of cleanliness
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial or janitorial cleaning is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidates
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high-quality work standards
- Good physical stamina to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout shifts
- Knowledge of proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be offered
- Excellent communication skills and reliability are essential for maintaining smooth operations
