Role Description:
We are seeking a dedicated IT Systems Administrator for a full-time, on-site role located in Gloversville, NY. The IT Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation and maintenance of the organization’s IT systems and networks. Key tasks include providing technical support, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring the security, reliability, and efficiency of IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively across departments to support optimal system performance and resolve issues promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proficiency in System Administration, including maintaining and configuring servers and managing user accounts
- Strong skills in Network Administration, such as monitoring network performance and ensuring secure connections
- Experience in Technical Support and Troubleshooting to identify and resolve hardware and software issues
- Comprehensive knowledge of Information Technology systems, tools, and best practices
- Strong problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and independently as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred
- Certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or related certifications are an advantage
Shift:
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
(Full-time) 40 hours
Salary:
$80,000 - $115,000 / YEAR
