Summary

Maintains a clean, sanitary, and safe environment for residents, staff, and visitors

Key Responsibilities

Clean and disinfect resident rooms, bathrooms, common areas, and offices
Follow infection control, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times
Properly handle and dispose of waste and soiled materials
Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly
Report maintenance or safety concerns to appropriate staff
Replenish supplies and maintain housekeeping equipment
Support facility readiness for inspections and surveys

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred
Prior housekeeping experience, healthcare or long-term care preferred
Knowledge of cleaning procedures and infection control practices
Ability to work independently and follow directions
Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as required
