We are currently seeking a reliable Independent Contractor Floater in the Cooperstown, NY area to provide route coverage and last-minute delivery support throughout Upstate New York. This role is ideal for flexible drivers who can step in when routes need coverage or urgent deliveries arise.
Position Overview
- Primary responsibility is covering scheduled routes when drivers are unavailable
- When no route coverage is needed, driver must be available for:
- STAT/on-demand deliveries
- Last-minute assignments
- Emergency coverage requests
- Coverage area includes Cooperstown and surrounding Upstate NY regions
- Schedule varies based on daily operational needs
Pay Structure
- Pay varies based on the route or assignment covered
- Daily rates depend on route type, distance, and workload

Requirements
- 1099 Independent Contractor
- Reliable personal vehicle
- Valid driver’s license & clean MVR
- Must pass background screening
- Auto Insurance Minimums:
- $100,000 bodily injury per person
- $300,000 bodily injury per accident
- $50,000 property damage
- Must live near Cooperstown, NY
- Flexible availability and ability to respond on short notice
- Comfortable with changing routes and schedules
