Position Summary
We’re seeking a dynamic and knowledgeable Sales Trainer to lead training initiatives for the Hepzato Kit, an innovative drug-device combination therapy. This role is pivotal in equipping our sales force with clinical fluency, strategic acumen, and persuasive communication skills needed to drive adoption in a complex healthcare landscape.
You’ll design and deliver training programs that blend medical terminology, clinical application, and advanced sales tactics, ensuring our team can confidently engage with oncologists, interventional radiologists, and hospital stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver training programs on Hepzato Kit’s clinical use, mechanism of action, and device handling
- Translate complex medical concepts into digestible, actionable content for sales professionals
- Coach on sales strategy, objection handling, and value-based selling tailored to oncology and interventional radiology
- Create training materials including presentations, e-learning modules, role-play scenarios, and competitive positioning guides
- Conduct live workshops and virtual sessions for onboarding, product launches, and ongoing skill development
- Design and lead new hire onboarding programs, ensuring rapid ramp-up and clinical confidence from day one
- Develop continuing education plans for the entire sales team, including refreshers, advanced modules, and certification pathways
- Implement field coaching frameworks to reinforce training and support skill application in real-world settings
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Regulatory to ensure accuracy and alignment
- Assess training effectiveness through KPIs, feedback loops, and field performance metrics
- Stay current on therapeutic trends, competitive landscape, and evolving sales methodologies
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business, or related field (advanced degree a plus)
- 5+ years in pharmaceutical or medical device sales, with 2+ years in training or sales enablement
- Strong grasp of medical terminology, anatomy, and clinical workflows - especially in oncology or interventional procedures
- Proven ability to train and coach on consultative and strategic selling techniques
- Experience with drug-device combination products preferred
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and instructional design skills
- Ability to travel up to 30% for training events and field support
- Proficiency with PowerPoint, CRM platforms, LMS systems, and e-learning tools to build and deliver engaging training content
Options Skills
- Familiarity with Interventional Radiology, IHP, PHP, or regional chemotherapy delivery
- Knowledge of FDA regulations and compliance in promotional training
- Certification in instructional design or adult learning methodologies
