Procurement Operations Specialist
Remote Role
Salary Range: $30/HR to $35/HR; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.
Job Summary
The Procurement Operations Specialist is responsible for supporting procurement and purchasing activities within Oracle Fusion by processing transactional requests, maintaining purchasing documentation, and ensuring timely completion of procurement-related administrative functions. This role plays a critical part in supporting operational efficiency by managing purchase orders (POs), blanket purchase agreements (BPAs), requisitions, and reporting activities. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, process-focused, and experienced working within enterprise procurement systems.
Key Responsibilities
Procurement Transaction Processing
- Complete assigned Oracle Fusion procurement transactions accurately and within established service level agreements.
- Reprocess purchase orders that are in rejected, incomplete, or error status as required.
- Create and manually submit requisitions against active Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPAs).
- Review and clear purchase orders and BPAs that have been placed on hold.
- Process purchase order quantity increase requests in accordance with established procedures.
- Perform administrative updates and maintenance activities for purchase orders and BPAs.
- Maintain and update Request for Quote (RFQ) tracking documentation and related procurement records.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Additional education, relevant certifications, or equivalent experience preferred.
- Demonstrated skills and experience necessary to successfully perform procurement and purchasing support activities.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
