£475 - £500 per day | London, England | Contract

Data Engineer l Azure l Fabric l Pyspark l Greenfield l 6‑Month Contract | £475-£500 per day | Outside IR35 l Hybrid 3 days in London

We're partnering with a leading London-based organisation that's building a modern, enterprise-wide data platform on Microsoft Fabric and is seeking a Senior Data Engineer to support its delivery.

This is a hands-on role within a greenfield Fabric environment, working across finance, operations, and strategic decision-making. You'll design and build scalable data solutions end to end, collaborating closely with technical and business teams to shape a robust, future-ready platform.

The role requires onsite attendance at the client's London office three days per week.

Skills & Experience

Strong experience delivering production-grade data pipelines and Lakehouse/Warehouse solutions in Microsoft Fabric
Solid background in data modelling and architecture (Star Schema, Data Vault, Medallion), with a focus on performance and governance
Hands-on expertise with PySpark, Spark SQL, CI/CD, Git, and working closely with BI teams on Power BI semantic models
Experience contributing to platform standards and strategy; exposure to Purview and D365 Finance & Operations data is beneficial

Contract Details

6 months contract
three days in london - rest remote
£475-£500 per day
Outside IR35
