Data Engineer

Up to £450 per day | Italy | Contract

We are seeking five Data Engineer with 3+ years' experience in data engineering, data quality, and ETL development to support a major BCBS 239 risk data aggregation programme. You'll work across data pipelines, quality controls, and metadata processes to ensure regulatory‑grade data integrity and traceability.

Key Experience

3+ years' experience in data engineering and/or ETL development.
Strong hands-on skills with Databricks, PySpark, SQL, and cloud data platforms.
Experience implementing data quality frameworks, rules, and automated checks.
Understanding of data lineage, metadata, and risk/regulatory data processes.
Experience working on financial services or risk data programmes (BCBS 239 preferred).
Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.

Contract

Outside IR35
Remote with travel to Southern Europe as and when project requires
£450 per day
19 months contract
