Accounting Analyst
Full‑time (Onsite) | $75,000–$79,000 per year
Job Summary
We are seeking an Accounting‑focused Business Analyst to support our Finance team with cost accounting, inventory analysis, reporting, and month‑end closing activities. This role is approximately 80% accounting and financial reporting and 20% ERP/reporting systems support. The ideal candidate will be detail‑oriented, experienced in manufacturing accounting, and comfortable working with ERP data and reporting tools.
Key Responsibilities
Accounting & Financial Analysis (80%)
- Support monthly and year‑end close activities within the ERP system.
- Maintain standard costing, BOM accuracy, overhead/labor rates, and product costing integrity.
- Prepare and analyze month‑end financial statements, margin reports, and cost variance analyses.
- Report daily/weekly/monthly on margin trends and changes.
- Assist with cost development for new products alongside Sales and Engineering.
- Maintain strong internal controls for inventory, costing, and financial reporting processes.
- Reconcile inventory accounts and support cycle count accuracy.
- Process inventory adjustments and ensure accurate invoicing in coordination with Customer Service.
- Prepare journal entries and assist with external financial audits.
ERP, Reporting & Systems Support (20%)
- Run and maintain financial and operational reports within the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics preferred).
- Support cross‑functional processes by ensuring clean data and consistent ERP usage.
- Provide user support, documentation, and training related to ERP financial processes.
- Utilize SQL, Power BI, or similar tools to improve reporting and streamline workflows (preferred).
- Participate in ERP enhancements, system upgrades, and process automation initiatives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field.
- 2–5 years of accounting experience; manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, modeling, etc.).
- Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
- Knowledge of cost accounting, inventory processes, and standard costing.
- Experience working with ERP systems; Microsoft Dynamics preferred.
- SQL, Power BI, or AI tool experience is a plus.
- Ability to communicate effectively across Finance, Operations, Engineering, and IT.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet monthly deadlines.

Pay: $75,000.00 - $79,000.00 per year
