About the Role
We’re looking for a dedicated Painter to join our team and help us continue delivering the level of care our patients and families deserve. In this role, you’ll be a vital part of our team, ensuring excellent service, collaboration, and patient outcomes in a fast-paced healthcare environment. You'll prepare surfaces for painting and finishing, apply undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials; mixes and matches paints and finishes; advises on the selection and storage of painting materials and equipment.
🔍 What You’ll Do
- Prepares surfaces for application of paint, stain, or other finish.
- Applies undercoats and finish coats using the full range of application methods and materials
- Listens and fulfills customer needs regarding painting preferences and schedules
- Prepares area for painting by posting signs, moving/covering any furniture, floors, and equipment etc.
- Applies flooring and cove base, cleans area after painting, staining, wall covering.
- Flooring could be a small patch to a small section of repairs.
- Apply wall protection with adhesive products.
- Selects and purchases pre-mixed paint, primer, or stain to achieve a specified color.
- Estimates for time and materials shall be captured on the work order created for the changes.
📋 What You Bring
- High school graduate or GED required
- 5 years as a painter in a residential, commercial, industrial, or facilities operations setting
- Both interior, exterior and healthcare setting preferred
- Must have a valid NYS driver's license
- Must be at least 21 years old (to be deemed acceptable to drive under Saratoga Hospital's auto insurance)
