We are seeking a motivated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our busy outpatient orthopedic practice located in the heart of Eastdale Village in Poughkeepsie, New York. Eastdale is a vibrant, walkable, and active town-center community offering restaurants, coffee shops, retail, fitness, and residential living all within steps of our clinic.

Position Overview
The ideal candidate will possess strong orthopedic and musculoskeletal assessment skills, excellent clinical reasoning, and the ability to develop individualized treatment plans that help patients achieve meaningful outcomes. In addition to orthopedic conditions, our therapists treat a wide variety of diagnoses and patient populations, creating a dynamic and rewarding clinical experience.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
- Current New York State Physical Therapy license (or eligibility)
- Strong musculoskeletal and orthopedic evaluation and treatment skills
- Excellent communication and patient education abilities
- Strong clinical diagnostic and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment
- Professional demeanor and commitment to exceptional patient care
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Timely and accurate documentation
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to support colleagues and clinic needs
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
- Deliver evidence-based physical therapy interventions
- Educate patients regarding their condition, treatment plan, and self-management strategies
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, staff, and fellow therapists
- Contribute to a positive, supportive clinic culture
- Manage patient schedules efficiently while maintaining a high standard of care
