Litchfield Hills Surgery Center specializes in orthopedic surgery and pain management. Our providers have decades of experience between them. We are located in Torrington, CT. Currently, we are looking to Hire an experienced CST for our growing surgery center. The ideal candidate will be able to function in a fast-paced environment, have knowledge and be able to display proficiency of orthopedic surgery.

Duties:
- Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring that all necessary equipment and supplies are properly sterilized and set up.
- Assist surgeons and other medical professionals during surgical procedures by passing instruments, sponges, and other supplies.
- Maintain a sterile field throughout the surgical procedure, following proper infection control protocols.
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and provide assistance as required.
- Handle specimens collected during surgery and ensure they are properly labeled and sent to the laboratory for analysis.
-Assist with turnovers between cases in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Completion of an accredited Surgical Technician program.
- Certification as a Surgical Technician (CST) is required.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, surgical procedures, and sterile techniques.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

$10,000.00 sign on bonus to be paid in 4 increments, (at 6mos, 12mos, 18mos, and 24mos)
