Lanie’s Cafe is seeking experienced, professional servers to join our team for our busy patio season, with opportunity for year-round employment for the right candidates.
We are not looking for entry-level servers. We are seeking hospitality professionals who take pride in service, work well in a strong team environment, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant.

Compensation

Responsibilities
- Provide professional, polished table service in a high-volume environment
- Demonstrate strong food, wine, beer, and liquor knowledge
- Guide guest dining experiences through recommendations and upselling
- Work collaboratively with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff
- Maintain clean and organized sections
- Handle guest needs and concerns professionally
- Accurately process payments using POS systems (Toast experience preferred)
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years experience serving in a full-service restaurant (required)
- Strong knowledge of food, wine, beer, and spirits
- Ability to carry large trays and work efficiently under pressure
- Excellent communication and hospitality skills
- Strong multitasking and time management ability
- Experience with Toast POS preferred
- Professional appearance and attitude required
Scheduling
Full and part-time positions available.
Typical shifts include:
- Lunch: 10am – 2–5pm (volume dependent)
- Dinner: 4pm – 8–11pm (later hours on weekends)
Ideal candidates are available for peak shifts, weekends, and patio season volume.
