Brass Eye Center is a well-established and growing ophthalmology practice in the Albany/Capital Region of New York seeking a board-certified/board-eligible Ophthalmologist to join our team. Brass Eye Center offers a robust surgical and medical practice environment. The incoming physician will quickly build a busy, diverse practice with a strong referral base and access to both routine and complex cases. Our supportive infrastructure — advanced technology, a highly trained staff, efficient scheduling, and strong administrative support — enables our physicians to focus on delivering exceptional patient care.
We are a comprehensive practice with an emphasis on cataract surgery and anterior segment disease, and our surgeons perform a high volume of premium cataract procedures. We provide full-spectrum eye care, including management of ocular surface disease, glaucoma, uveitis, retinal disease, and refractive services. Our strong optometry team manages routine eye care, contact lenses, and a broad range of medical eye care needs.
Surgeries are performed at the Albany Regional Eye Surgery Center (ARESC), a state-of-the-art, seven-OR ambulatory surgery center dedicated exclusively to ophthalmic surgery. ARESC is equipped with the latest Alcon cataract platform, femtosecond, excimer, YAG, and SLT lasers, and staffed by experienced ophthalmic technicians and nurses who prioritize patient safety and efficient case flow.
Position benefits:
Production based yearly bonus with potential of total compensation $400,000. - $500,000.00 total salary
