Position: Project Manager – Clean Transportation (EV Programs)
Contract: 3-Year Contract
Work Arrangement: Remote (with option to work onsite in NYC or Albany, NY)
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Pay Rate: $50-$60 per hour (depending on experience)

Position Overview
The Clean Transportation team is seeking a Project Coordinator / Project Manager to support the oversight and execution of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE) grant programs and related installation projects. This role will support both federal and state-funded initiatives, ensuring effective contract management, project coordination, and stakeholder engagement across multiple programs.
Key Responsibilities
- Initiate, track, and manage over a dozen contracts across 2–3 separate solicitations, including contracts with support contractors and program awardees
- Support and manage projects associated with EV charging programs
- Coordinate with project teams to ensure timely progress on deliverables, resolve issues, and provide ongoing support
- Track, document, and report on project progress, including scope, schedule, and budget for multiple installation projects
- Develop and maintain project materials such as slide decks, status reports, internal documentation, and forms
- Assist with solicitations and contract management across multiple Clean Transportation and Integrated Energy Solutions (IES) programs
- Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders to support program execution
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support Clean Transportation initiatives
Required Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience initiating, tracking, and managing multiple contracts
- Ability to interact professionally with external stakeholders, including government officials, consultants, charging station hosts, and utility companies
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to follow and establish processes
- Ability to quickly learn new systems and tools
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Solid IT/system proficiency
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in contract management
- Familiarity with clean transportation, electric vehicles (EV), or EV charging infrastructure
