As An Assistant Teacher You Will:
- Be an essential part of a 3 person classroom teaching team.
- Assist in the development and delivery of lessons that are in accordance with the program’s curriculum
- Create positive, child-directed learning environments
- Observe and record an assessment of children’s growth, development, and behavior
- Work in a family atmosphere, as part of a team that goes above and beyond for each other and the children we serve
Pay and Hours
Salary: $18.76/hr.
Hours per week: 35
Weeks per year : 44 Weeks
Duties & Responsibilities

Qualifications
Qualifications:
- A Valid driver’s license.
- An understanding of young children and low-income families, and an appreciation of parents as the primary educators of their children.
Toddler Position:
- A minimum of an Associate’s Degree in Early Childhood, CDA or equivalent certification, and be trained in early childhood development with a focus on infant and toddler development.
- At least one year of experience working with young children, preferably in an infant/toddler setting.
