Job Overview:
The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for overseeing supply chain planning, inventory management, and procurement activities to support Jaunty’s manufacturing and distribution operations. This role ensures that raw materials, packaging components, and finished goods are available in the right quantities, at the right time, and in compliance with all applicable regulatory and quality standards. The Supply Chain Manager works closely with Operations and Quality leadership to align inventory strategy with production schedules, sales forecasts, and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regularly scheduled cycle counts on all non-cannabis inventory components.
- Conduct scheduled monthly audits of all work-in-progress (WIP) and intermediate cannabis materials.
- Ensure accurate and timely inventory reporting across all systems, including item names, status, locations, and weights or counts.
- Maintain appropriate cannabis and non-cannabis inventory levels based on sales forecasts, production plans, and consumption trends.
- Support production planning by aligning material availability with manufacturing schedules.
- Ensure compliant receipt of all kitchen ingredients and materials, including verification and maintenance of Certificates of Analysis (COAs).
- Ensure all suppliers are properly qualified and requalified as required under GMP standards.
- Maintain adequate inventory levels of production consumables based on depletion rates and operational demand.
- Initiate, manage, and maintain streamlined purchasing and ordering processes.
- Submit purchase orders within established purchasing cycles and deadlines.
- Pull daily inventory and supply chain reports and export data to appropriate tools to support operational insight and decision-making.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and audit-ready warehouse and storage environment.
- Receive and inspect all non-cannabis inventory orders, both physically and digitally, within 24 hours of receipt.

- Communicate regularly with vendors to confirm shipment schedules, receiving dates, and order status.
- Provide Operations with regular updates on purchase orders in process and expected delivery timelines.
- Negotiate improved pricing, lead times, and supply terms with vendors when appropriate.
- Identify supply chain risks and constraints and implement corrective actions to minimize operational disruption.
Requirements:
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field preferred.
Experience
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in supply chain management required.
- Two (2) years of experience in inventory management required.
- Two (2) years of experience in a consumer packaged goods (CPG) or manufacturing environment preferred.
Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with Operations, R&D, and Quality teams.
- Experience supporting production environments and coordinating closely with production and quality managers.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify, analyze, and resolve supply chain challenges efficiently.
Compensation
Annual salary starts at $85,000, depending on experience.
