Join our dynamic hospitality team as a Hotel Housekeeper at Hampton Inn, where your attention to detail and passion for cleanliness will create a welcoming and pristine environment for our guests. In this vital role, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort throughout guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces. Your dedication will ensure our hotel remains a clean, safe, and inviting place for everyone who walks through our doors. Duties
- Makes beds neatly with fresh linen (including: sheets, duvet, blankets and pillow cases and sofa beds.)
- Removes dirty linen and terry.
- Picks up debris/trash from floors, removes and empties trash in wastebaskets, cleans mirrors and shelves, closet, in-room safe (if not being used). Inspects and restocks collateral. Wipes door frames, window sills, walls and baseboards, and arranges furniture properly. Cleans appliances, equipment, furniture and cupboards. High-dusts artwork.
- Inspects marketing collateral, replacing expired or damaged items.
- Cleans & disinfects bathrooms including: basin, bathtub, toilet, tile, flooring, and walls using approved cleaning chemicals and rags.
- Replenishes bathroom supplies/amenities and towels in accordance with brand/hotel standards.
- Replenishes room supplies (Coffee, condiments, mugs, glassware, utensils, cups, stationery, pens) in accordance with brand/hotel standards.
- Cleans mirrors, windows, vent cover, glass doors.
- Cleans & disinfects counters, refrigerators, flooring, and walls using approved cleaning chemicals and rags.
- Reports room status (vacant/occupied; clean/dirty; Do Not Disturb (DND) in a timely manner to the appropriate persons/departments.
- Reports items that require repair or additional cleaning to the appropriate person/department.
- Restocks housekeeping cart.
- Vacuums hallways.
- Turns in all lost and found articles immediately.
- Additional duties may be added at any time at the discretion of management.
Physical Demands:
- Requires ability to stand/walk for entire shift.
- Bend, Stoop, Reach - often.
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs. regularly.
- Ability to push housekeeping cart regularly.
- Requires ability to perform light to moderately heavy housekeeping duties using the approved chemicals and equipment.
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, windows, and furniture to ensure a spotless environment.
- Perform floor care tasks such as vacuuming carpets, mopping hard floors, and maintaining cleanliness in hallways and common areas.
- Restock amenities like toiletries, towels, linens, and other supplies to meet guest needs efficiently.
- Handle janitorial tasks including waste removal, dusting surfaces, and disinfecting high-touch areas to uphold hygiene standards.
- Maintain cleanliness in public spaces such as lobbies, elevators, restrooms, and dining areas to enhance guest comfort.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages promptly to ensure swift resolution and uphold quality standards.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in cleaning or custodial roles within hotels or similar hospitality or Hilton environments is preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning and hard floor maintenance.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards with a focus on guest satisfaction.
- Experience with janitorial or industrial cleaning practices is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.

Morning shifts typically start at 9:00 AM. Availability in the evening or overnight is also very helpful. The position is approximately 25-30 hours per week.
Pay: $16.00 - $16.50 per hour
