Summary Of Role
The Legal Support Analyst supports the Broadview Legal Department with the intake, management, organization and tracking of legal document demands and other legal requests including subpoenas, search warrants, liens, notices of restraint. This role will help ensure data privacy and that responses are timely and follow Broadview policies and procedures.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:
- Review and enter legal documents into a tracking mechanism
- Redact confidential or protected information when necessary
- Track deadlines and maintain case management logs
- Work in cooperation with Broadview legal team to determine scope and legitimacy of legal requests
- Work cross- functionally with other departments to retrieve, compile and review responses
- Communicate with law enforcement and court officials as directed by the Chief Legal Officer
- Draft affidavits: responses and certifications of records as directed
- Prepare and sends acknowledgment and follow‑up letters to all relevant parties regarding received subpoenas and legal orders
- Escalate complex or sensitive matters to the Chief Legal Officer
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Job Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Legal Studies or related field
- 1–3+ years’ experience in legal, compliance, banking, healthcare, or corporate environment
Required Skills
- Working knowledge of financial institution systems, member account records, and data‑retrieval tools to accurately locate and produce information responsive to legal requests.
- Strong knowledge of civil and criminal procedure and subpoena processes
- Attention to detail and analytical skills
- Confidentiality and data privacy awareness
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Case management and documentation skills
- Time management and ability to handle multiple deadlines
Starting Compensation: $29.00 - $35.53/hr., plus a competitive benefits package
