Join our dynamic team as an Ice Cream Production Worker or Shipping Receiving Warehouse Associate! Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and production of ice cream, following strict food safety and sanitation protocols such as HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) and CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices).
- Operate machinery and equipment used in food processing, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all production areas, adhering to sanitation standards to prevent contamination.
- Package finished products accurately, ensuring proper labeling and quality control measures are followed.
- Manage inventory by receiving shipments, inspecting goods for quality, verifying quantities, and organizing storage in the warehouse.
- Operate forklifts safely for loading, unloading, and moving products within the warehouse or production area.
- Support shipping logistics by preparing orders for dispatch, coordinating with carriers, and maintaining accurate shipping records.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in manufacturing or food processing environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of HACCP, CGMP, sanitation practices, and food safety standards is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience working with machinery used in food production is a plus.
- Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification is preferred but training can be provided.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks safely.
- Basic understanding of packaging processes and inventory management within a warehouse setting.
