Salary: $62,500 - $64,500/yr
May – September: on-site work five days a week
September – April: hybrid schedule, three days on-site work and two days remote work, subject to change based on program needs

The Program Coordinator of Programming is responsible for overseeing the planning and administration of all camp programming and activities, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and operational standards. Key responsibilities include supervising program staff, managing operational areas such as the camp store and related expenditures, and coordinating with support departments including finance, accounting, compliance, human resources, and payroll to ensure the smooth operation of Camp Loyaltown. This role emphasizes supervisory oversight and cross-departmental collaboration in support of overall program success.
In this role, you will:
- Uphold and promote the agency’s mission in all interactions: Through family and community engagement, Citizens supports people to live the life they choose.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, agency policies, training requirements, and incident management protocols, including mandated reporting to the Justice Center.
- Provide leadership and strategic oversight of summer camp operations, including program scheduling, staff supervision, training, and performance management.
- Oversee financial and operational responsibilities, including petty cash review, budget-aligned purchasing, supply ordering, apparel management, and inventory control.
- Lead and participate in meetings with staff and leadership, ensuring consistent communication, administrative oversight, and staff support.
- Manage seasonal camp opening and closing processes, including inventory, storage, and operational readiness.
- Serve as a liaison between the camp and the local community to strengthen engagement and resolve concerns.
- Provide high-level support and recommendations to senior leadership, exercising discretion and independent judgment.
We require:
- High School Diploma
- Qualified NYS Driver’s License and maintain throughout employment
- Experience at a camp preferred
