- Minimum 2 years of professional software‑development experience or a Master’s degree with no required experience.

What We're Doing
Our Mission Systems team develops and sustains advanced software solutions that support critical business and mission objectives. We design, build, and maintain high-assurance systems that enable operational success across complex aerospace and defense platforms. Our work supports real-world missions where performance, reliability, and security are paramount.
The Work
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to all phases of the software development lifecycle, including:
Requirements analysis
Software design and architecture support
Implementation and integration
Testing and verification
Technical documentation
You will work under general supervision while collaborating closely with Systems Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Program Management, and the Software Architecture group. Success in this role requires strong teamwork, clear communication, and the ability to operate effectively in a multidisciplinary environment.

Agile software development methodologies
DevSecOps practices
DO-178C standards
C/C++ and Python
Linux-based development environments
GitLab and Atlassian tool suite
Please Note
This position can be based out of Stratford, CT or Owego, NY.
This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.

Desired Skills
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python.
- Understanding of open architectures, modular design, and DO‑178C compliance.
- Experience with Agile/ Scrum methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
- Hands‑on use of Jira, Confluence, GitLab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and other CI/CD tools.
- Test‑driven development, unit‑testing, and automated test frameworks.
- Strong written and verbal communication for cross‑functional collaboration.
