Basic Qualifications
- Bachelors in Electrical Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Engineering, or equivalent STEM field with 2 years related professional experience or no experience required with a related Masters Degree
- Experience with development of software requirements and working collaboratively with software engineers in the design, development, and test of software
- Experience with the design, integration and test of systems and software operational programs
- Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a DoD government security clearance at the Secret level. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.

What We're Doing
We are seeking a System Engineer to join our team in Owego, NY, supporting the full product lifecycle of avionics subsystems. You will play a key role in translating customer requirements into technical solutions, defining software/hardware interfaces, verifying requirements, and integrating safety-critical systems. This role supports the design and certification of embedded mission software for use in modern defense platforms.
The Work
As a System Engineer, you’ll be responsible for the development of system requirements for avionics subsystems. You’ll collaborate across engineering disciplines to support verification and testing activities. You'll participate in team planning and meet your commitments to help the team deliver on technical performance, schedule, and cost.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform systems engineering efforts on the U.S. Coast Guard program
- Developing systems, software, and subsystem requirements
- Defining external and internal interfaces
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on software/hardware interfaces
- Allocating requirements to various engineering disciplines
- Support documentation and requirements verification
- Creating test plans, test procedures, and reports
- Executing integration, verification, and validation tests

This role is based in Owego, NY or Stratford, CT and requires 50% or more onsite.
U.S. Citizenship required.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD government clearance at the Secret level.
