This RN - Ambulatory position supports pediatric outpatient divisions including Pulmonology, Rheumatology, Infectious Disease, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology, and Nephrology.
- Provide direct patient care, triage, assessment, planning, and evaluation of care plans.
- Obtain and document vital signs, patient history, and perform focused physical assessments.
- Administer medications and participate in in-office procedures under supervision.
- Review test results, manage patient requests, and facilitate communication.
- Delegate tasks to LPNs or MAs as appropriate and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Educate patients and staff, participate in ongoing training.
- Qualifications include RN licensure, associate’s degree, CPR, and preferred pediatric or ambulatory experience.
- Must have strong communication skills, computer proficiency, and knowledge of EHR; medication administration skills are required.
