The Clinical Nurse in the Post Anesthesia Care unit provides compassionate patient care by implementing physician orders, administering medications, performing treatments, and interpreting diagnostic tests.
- Assesses patient needs and responses, applying sound nursing judgment for care management.
- Provides primary and emergency care for various injuries and illnesses.
- Collaborates with the team to develop and follow a Plan of Care.
- Supervises ancillary staff and maintains professional nursing standards.
- Requires a nursing degree (Diploma, Associate, or Baccalaureate), a current RN license, and certifications in BLS and ACLS.
- Must have 1-3 years of clinical RN experience in Med-Surg or Progressive Care, with strong communication and organizational skills.
- Adheres to confidentiality policies and regulations regarding sensitive information.
