Position Overview
We are looking for an experienced
Desktop Support Technician to join our team for a long-term onsite engagement in Albany, NY. The right candidate will have a strong background in Level 2 support, Windows troubleshooting, and enterprise IT tools. This role requires hands-on experience and the ability to work directly with end users in a professional environment.
Minimum Requirements (3+ Years of Experience in Each):
- Providing Level 2 help desk and end-user technical support
- Troubleshooting hardware and software issues, particularly Windows 11 or similar OS
- Installing and supporting Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook
- Proficiency with Lansweeper, Remote Desktop, and Active Directory (all three required)
- Working within ITSM service desk systems
- Installing and configuring Windows-based systems, peripherals, network printers, and thin clients
- Imaging computers and handling equipment weighing up to 50 lbs
- Supporting RSA Console and Workspace1
- Assisting users via phone, email, and in-person support
- Managing virtual desktops using VMware vSphere
