About The Candidate:
The ideal candidate will be highly organized, skilled in graphic design and content creation, social media management, and digital marketing. This is a hands-on role with a heavy focus on creating compelling visual and written content that drives engagement, builds brand identity, and generates results in the food, beverage, golf, and manufacturing sectors.
This is a full-time, on-site position. The primary office location will be at Van Patten Golf Club in Clifton Park. The associate must be comfortable traveling and working between business locations as needed for photography, content creation, and event support.
Position Overview:
The Marketing & Design Associate will report to the Vice President of Marketing and collaborate with a variety of team members. The successful candidate will be a self-starter, responsible for coordinating, designing, and publishing engaging content across multiple brands.
Key Responsibilities:
Design & Content Creation
- Design print, digital marketing materials, and social content using Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Lightroom, Premiere Pro)
- Photograph events, golf outings, food, drinks, and new products for marketing use
Content Marketing
- Develop and execute marketing strategies across multiple brands, in alignment with business objectives.
- Evaluate campaign performance and make adjustments to strategies based on data and market trends.
- Coordinate, schedule, and publish content across social media platforms and websites.
- Write engaging ad copy and captions tailored to brand voice and platform.
- Manage content using Meta Business Suite and other scheduling tools.
- Create and distribute email marketing campaigns using platforms like Mailchimp and ForeUp.
- Collaborate with General Manager’s, Event Coordinators, and other internal teams to promote events, product releases, and special offerings.
- Maintain organized content calendars and assist in planning campaign timelines.
Work Schedule
- Full-time, on-site (Work locations may vary based on business needs)
- Standard hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Occasional evening/weekend work for events and on-location content creation
- Local travel required between business locations as needed for meetings, events, and content creation
Due to the fluid nature and changing needs of our businesses, the successful applicant must be comfortable with creating and posting content remotely in the evenings or weekends as necessary.
Qualifications:
Required:
- 3–5 years of experience in marketing, graphic design, or a related field
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro)
- Strong understanding of graphic design principles
- Experience with social media management tools (e.g., Meta Business Suite)
- Experience with paid social media advertising campaigns
- Experience with email marketing platforms (e.g., Mailchimp)
- Strong writing and editing skills
- Basic photography skills and familiarity with mirrorless or DSLR cameras
- Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between business locations
Preferred:
- Associate’s or bachelor's degree in marketing, graphic design, communications, or a related field
- Experience with filming and editing video
- Knowledge of website content systems (e.g., WIX)
Salary: $60,500 – $65,500 Commensurate with experience

This office job is located in Clifton Park, NY with travel between locations required. You must be currently able to reliably commute to work every day, or you must be willing to relocate at your own expense so you can reliably commute.
