Description:
Our client is currently seeking a Vice President of Operations to join their team. This is a full-time, permanent position.
Responsibilities Include:
- Responsible for all aspects of maintaining the operating staff and outside contractors.
- Oversee the development of the budget.
- Regulation of vehicle type based upon shifting factors.
- Management of NYSDOT inspection.
- Improvement of fleet wide quality control and ensure economic vehicle maintenance.
- Overall minimization of vehicle downtime.
- Negotiation of contracts.
- Coordination of maintenance.
- Ensure clear communication.
- Work in conjunction with fellow senior management members to strategize business direction.
Qualifications:
- A college degree in business management or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in management.
- Knowledgeable about the Microsoft suite.
- A mechanical background is a must.
- Must be flexible with working hours.
