Cerity Partners visual identity and brand elements The Graphic Designer will conceptualize, produce, and manage all elements of the Cerity Partners visual identity and brand. Reporting to the Content Strategist, they will work across the Marketing Team and with internal stakeholders to create compelling and distinctive digital and printed assets that speak to clients, prospects, colleagues, the press, and other stakeholders. They will be responsible for design across multiple platforms and media, including the Firm’s website, brochures and other printed collateral, and digital assets, including newsletters, white papers, blogs, presentations, and email communications. Content will include corporate and business storytelling, thought leadership, profiles, and more. The ideal candidate will have experience in creative concepting, a sophisticated design sensibility, and superior project management skills.
Primary Responsibilities
- Design and produce high-quality digital and print materials, including white papers, brochures, advertisements, blogs, social posts, and website UX/UI elements.
- Collaborate with the Content Strategist and Video Content Producer to ensure cohesive messaging and branding across all content touchpoints.
- Own and mature the firm’s visual brand and guidelines
- Establish photography, illustration, and iconography guidelines and build out libraries of these and other brand elements.
- Develop, maintain, and evolve a consistent and elevated visual identity for all company brand assets.
- Own and develop the firm’s suite of templated materials for broad use
- Translate complex financial concepts into visually engaging designs using infographics, illustrations, and animations.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay updated on design trends, tools, and best practices to continuously enhance the company’s creative output.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and the marketing team to ensure that designs accurately reflect the brand’s desired image and messaging
- Present design concepts to clients and stakeholders for review and feedback
- Ensure that all designs are produced to the highest standards of quality and accuracy
Required Skills And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, or a related field.
- 5-7 years of professional design experience, preferably within a corporate or agency setting.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Proficiency in Figma for UX/UI design and prototyping and Canva.
- Have a working knowledge of how brands, sub-brands, and divergent visual identities can work together
- Strong understanding of typography, color theory, layout, and branding principles.
- Able to present design concepts to non-creatives with simplicity and audience flexibility
- Basic knowledge of web design best practices (HTML/CSS experience is a plus but not required).
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing for the financial services industry or other regulated industries.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools or techniques to represent financial metrics effectively.
- Experience working with, and getting the most out of, external vendor partners
Compensation Range
$90,000-$120,000
