Architectural Designer

Full-time, In-Person Position

C2 Design Group is currently seeking a talented Architectural Designer with a minimum of 7-10 years of experience to join our Schenectady office. The qualified candidate will follow direction from a principal or project manager and assist project teams.

Responsibilities

Assist with all phases of a project from schematic design to construction administration
Assist with field measurements, documenting existing building conditions to draft/model base plans
Perform architectural assignments including preparation of plans, elevations, sections, details and schedules
Assist with project and materials research
Prepare presentation materials and design boards
Attend in-house team meetings
Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards

Requirements / Qualifications

Bachelor of Architecture degree
Applicants must possess a minimum of 7-10 years of experience
Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is required
Familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite and Sketchup is preferred
Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills
Familiar with NYS Code and Specifications
Adheres to and implements firm contract documentation procedures and standards
Focused on ARE, if not already licensed

Salary

$60,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications or licensure.
