Overview
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Marijuana Budtender to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products for their needs. Your expertise in cannabis strains, products, and retail sales will contribute to a positive shopping experience and foster customer loyalty.

Responsibilities

Assist customers with product selection by providing detailed information about various cannabis strains and products.
Utilize POS systems for processing transactions, managing inventory, and maintaining accurate sales records.
Demonstrate effective merchandising techniques to enhance product visibility and appeal.
Engage in upselling and cross-selling strategies to maximize sales opportunities.
Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including stocking shelves and managing inventory levels.
Provide product demonstrations to educate customers about new items or promotions.
Ensure compliance with all state regulations regarding the sale of cannabis products.
Handle cash transactions accurately while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Exhibit excellent phone etiquette when addressing customer inquiries or concerns via phone.

Experience

Previous experience in retail sales or a grocery store environment is preferred.
Supervising experience is a plus, showcasing leadership skills within a retail setting.
Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply, as communication with diverse customers is essential.
Strong communication skills are necessary for effectively engaging with customers and understanding their needs.
Basic math skills are required for cashiering duties and managing transactions accurately.
