Job Summary
We are seeking a Technical / CAD Designer I to create accurate and detailed 3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software based on provided instructions, sketches, and layouts. The selected candidate will work closely with engineers and project teams to produce high-quality design documentation while following established drafting standards and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and update 2D/3D models and engineering drawings using CAD software.
- Revise models and drawings based on feedback from engineers and project managers.
- Ensure all drawings comply with company drafting standards and quality requirements.
- Follow established modeling and drafting procedures to produce clear and accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and deadlines.
- Work under close supervision while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's Degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field; or completion of a vocational/technical drafting program with relevant experience.
- Proficiency with CAD software.
- Basic understanding of drafting principles and standards.
- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.

- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
