We are looking for an experienced HR Generalist to support core human resources operations for a contract opportunity on site in Gloversville, New York. This position will play a key role in maintaining accurate employee records, supporting day-to-day HR administration, and delivering timely workforce reporting for leadership. The ideal candidate brings strong judgment, attention to detail, and hands-on experience across employee relations, onboarding, benefits coordination, and HR systems. Having HR experience in the Healthcare industry is extra ideal!
Responsibilities:
• Maintain and update employee records related to hires, separations, leaves of absence, transfers, status adjustments, contract assignments, and layoff activity.
• Prepare recurring monthly, quarterly, and annual workforce reports for HR leadership, ensuring information is organized, accurate, and submitted on schedule.
• Coordinate onboarding activities for new employees, including documentation, data entry, and communication of required HR processes.
• Support benefits administration by assisting employees with enrollment questions, changes, and related follow-up actions.
• Use HRIS tools to enter, audit, and manage personnel data while helping preserve data integrity across HR records.
• Assist with employee relations matters by documenting concerns, supporting investigations, and maintaining appropriate confidentiality.
• Process accident and incident reporting in accordance with established HR and workplace procedures.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to respond to HR administrative requests and provide dependable support across the employee lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience in human resources, with broad exposure to HR administration and employee record management.
• Practical knowledge of onboarding, benefits support, and day-to-day HR operations.
• Experience working with HRIS platforms and maintaining a high level of accuracy in employee data.
• Background supporting employee relations issues and assisting with workplace investigations.
• Familiarity with leave tracking, employment status changes, and termination documentation.
• Ability to create and manage recurring HR reports for leadership review.
• Strong organizational skills, sound judgment, and the ability to handle sensitive information with discretion.
