Summary:
The Regional Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic partner to leadership, aligning human resources initiatives with business objectives across multiple locations. This role supports organizational effectiveness through leadership coaching, employee relations, talent management, and compliance, while ensuring consistent application of company policies and programs. The HRBP will primarily support the Fultonville site, with approximately 20% of time dedicated to supporting additional locations within the region.
Core Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to site leadership, translating business strategy into workforce, organizational, and talent actions that enable operational performance and scalability
- Coach and influence leaders on leadership effectiveness, decision making, performance management, and navigating complex employee situations while strengthening frontline leadership capability
- Lead organizational assessments, workforce planning, succession planning, and talent reviews to build long term organizational capability and address future skill needs
- Plan, prepare and facilitate annual performance processes and calibration sessions, including agenda development, analytics and material preparation, and documentation of outcomes and action items
- Drive organizational design, role clarity, and change management initiatives in support of growth, restructuring, and operational priorities
- Utilize data and insights to identify risks, recommend solutions, and guide leadership decisions impacting productivity, engagement, and retention
- Manage employee relations matters and ensure consistent, fair application of policies while balancing compliance and business outcomes
- Act as a visible HR presence within operations, building trust and credibility with leaders and employees while aligning site practices to enterprise standards
- Drive continuous improvement of people processes and challenge existing practices to enhance organizational effectiveness and operational performance
- Lead and support HR initiatives and projects assigned in support of the company
Education and Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience)
· 7–10+ years of progressive HR experience, including business partnering
· Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices
· Proven ability to influence and build relationships with leaders at all levels
· Strong problem-solving, conflict resolution, and decision-making skills
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Proficiency in HRIS systems (e.g., Paylocity or similar platforms)
· Strong analytical and problem-solving capability
· Ability to travel regularly between NY, MO and Canada (about 20% of the time)
· Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
· Advanced Excel proficiency (PivotTables, advanced lookup and aggregation functions) and strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
