We are looking for a detail-oriented Operations Analyst to join our team in Albany, New York. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting manufacturing operations by analyzing data, identifying trends, and assisting with planning and procurement processes. This position is ideal for someone with a strong analytical mindset and a passion for improving operational efficiency in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Gather, review, and organize data related to manufacturing, inventory, and production processes to support decision-making.
• Analyze productivity, cost, inventory, and delivery data to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
• Create and maintain reports and dashboards to provide insights to the Manufacturing Operations leadership team.
• Monitor capacity, labor utilization, and production output to ensure alignment with operational goals.
• Collaborate with production planning teams to review demand forecasts, capacity plans, and production schedules.
• Identify potential production bottlenecks, material shortages, or capacity constraints and communicate findings to relevant teams.
• Work closely with procurement, inventory, and supply chain teams to ensure the seamless execution of production plans.
• Assist in tracking material availability and supplier performance, highlighting risks or shortages early.
• Contribute to efforts aimed at reducing inventory discrepancies and improving material flow within manufacturing processes.
• Participate in cross-functional meetings to enhance communication and coordination between manufacturing and supply chain teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Operations, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field, or equivalent experience in a detail-oriented role.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, supply chain, production planning, or operational support (internships or entry-level experience considered).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis.
• Familiarity with manufacturing operations, inventory concepts, and production planning.
• Exposure to procurement, materials management, or supply chain functions.
• Strong attention to detail and a keen interest in working with data.
• Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
