What you’ll do
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to keep all areas spotless.
- Maintain floors through effective care techniques, including buffing and waxing as needed.
- Handle commercial cleaning duties with efficiency and attention to detail.
- Assist with custodial tasks in both residential and industrial settings to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
- Support facilities maintenance by reporting any repairs or maintenance needs promptly.
- Execute porter responsibilities, ensuring common areas are tidy and presentable at all times.
- Collaborate with team members to uphold a clean and organized environment for all staff and visitors.
- Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to maintain a safe workspace.
Basic qualifications
- Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles is preferred.
Preferred qualifications
- Familiarity with floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance of various surfaces.
- Experience in commercial cleaning environments is a plus.
- Background in residential painting or industrial cleaning can enhance your application.
