What You Will Do
- Clean and sanitize common areas (bathrooms, kitchens, living rooms, laundry areas, playroom, arcade room, offices, etc.) to the highest standards.
- Thoroughly clean and disinfect guest bedrooms between family stays, ensuring a fresh, welcoming environment.
- Follow daily checklists to track cleaned areas and maintain consistency.
- Empty trash and recycling bins throughout the House.
- Report any maintenance or repair needs to the Director of Operations promptly.
- Assist with inventory control of cleaning supplies.
- Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the Director of Operations or CEO.
- Serve as a compassionate resource when interacting with families, volunteers, and staff – always with professionalism and kindness.
What We are Looking For
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of housekeeping experience preferred (hotel, hospital, or residential experience is a plus!).
- Reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license.
- Ability to work consistently Monday–Friday, 8 AM–1 PM.
- Dependable with excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Physically able to stand, kneel, bend, stoop, climb, carry, and lift up to 50 lbs independently (up to 140 lbs with assistance) for most of the shift.
- Keen attention to detail and pride in creating spotless, inviting spaces.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a small, collaborative team.
- Compassionate demeanor and strong communication skills – you'll interact positively with families facing tough situations.
- Ability to handle repetitive tasks with high focus and mental alertness.
- Problem-solving mindset to spot and report issues quickly.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
