We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Operations Coordinator to join our team in Cohoes, New York. In this role, you will manage key aspects of daily operations, including scheduling, project coordination, and customer interactions, while ensuring efficiency and compliance with regulations. This position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex logistical challenges.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate multiple job schedules each day, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
• Develop solutions to operational challenges with a proactive and urgent approach.
• Prepare and submit oversized load permit applications, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
• Assign and dispatch equipment and personnel to job sites for timely and efficient project execution.
• Create and follow up on customer quotes to secure signed agreements and monitor project progress.
• Organize equipment maintenance schedules and inspections to maintain operational readiness.
• Monitor and document equipment deliveries to ensure accurate tracking and inventory management
• Possess 3-5 years of experience in construction or field operations, with a background in managing oversized loads.
• Demonstrate exceptional organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook for efficient operational management.
• Exhibit strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, team members, and vendors.
• Familiarity with dispatching processes and DOT compliance standards.
• Experience in preparing and managing customer quotes for projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a commitment to meeting deadlines and project goals.
